I would like to shine a spotlight on Friends of Hartsville Memorial Library for their help in funding events and activities from craft supplies to author events. The Friends have a book sale twice a year—in the Fall and Spring. They also have membership options that let you access the book sales the night before non-members. A membership also allows you to vote on board members and keeps you in the loop with occasional newsletters and emails.
The Friends are always accepting volunteers. If you’re looking for a place to help out in our community and promote literacy, FoHML is a great organization to do that.
