I love playing Dungeons & Dragons. It’s the only tabletop RPG I’ve ever played, but I would love to try out some other games.
Monster of the Week is one I’d love to give a go. It’s a Powered by the Apocalypse style game—that just refers to its mechanics. Unlike in D&D where you use a D20 for most things and several other dice, in PbtA games you only use 2D6. Using just 2D6 creates a bell curve, which makes applying stats from -3 to +3 in a skill make a big difference in outcomes. Also, in most PbtA games, the game master never rolls against the players.
